Vincent Stemmler presents his solo exhibition "Doom Scroll," a collection of artworks created during his residency at the Kranzberg Art Foundation over nearly two years.
"Doom Scroll" explores anxiety-inducing events in the world, encouraging viewers to engage with these moments more deeply than the fleeting interactions typical on social media. By incorporating physical objects and images, Vincent aims to make people present with these significant issues.
The Kranzberg Residency provided him with essential studio space, funding, and access to large-scale printing and a woodshop, enabling him to bring his vision to life. This residency has been invaluable, offering the time and space crucial for artistic creation.
