Rowan Bathurst, an artist from Baltimore, Maryland, presents her mural "I Dance Too" at the Walls off Washington in St. Louis. Inspired by Hannah Arden's poem "Tamil," which translates to "I Dance, Too," the piece celebrates women's resilience and their choice to dance and smile despite life's challenges.
Marilyn photographed her dancer friends to capture this spirit. Influenced by women and artifacts, her work connects historical elements to the present.
